My great great great great great grandfather

This is an article about my great great great great grandfather, William Harrison Wroughton who fought in the Civil War serving with the 99th Illinois volunteer Infantry. He was one of four sons four of whom were soliders and three died, two in the Civil War. William's brother, Dan Wroughton was taken prisoner by the rebels and complled to stand in the front ranks fo the southern forces, where he was shot in battle by the Union soldiers, his own comrades. By only a day, fate prevented his death at the hands of his brother George, who 24 hours later, attacked , with his forces, the sector where his brother had been killed the day before.
this appeared in a paper called The Republian in Pike County 1932
